We are seeking a Development Associate to join our growing team. This individual will work directly with leadership, playing a key role in underwriting new opportunities, preparing investor materials, and conducting market research, all while gaining exposure to every aspect of the development process.​​

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

Primary Focus

• Financial Modeling – Build, maintain, and refine detailed pro form as, sensitivity analyses, and return models.

• Investor Materials – Prepare investment memorandums, pitch decks, and reporting packages for capital partners.

• Market Research – Conduct demographic studies, rent/absorption analyses, and competitive property research to inform underwriting and strategy

Additionally ​

• Assist with due diligence by reviewing surveys, environmental reports, title commitments, and other acquisition materials.

• Support entitlement and predevelopment activities, including coordination with municipal agencies.

• Collaborate with architectural and design teams to align site plans, conceptual designs, and feasibility studies with financial and market objectives.

• Provide project management support, tracking budgets, timelines, and key development milestones.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field

• 2–4+ years of experience in real estate development, investment, brokerage, or advisory

• Exceptional skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling (Argus experience preferred)

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Familiarity with the Nashville real estate market is a plus

• Ability to travel up to 10%
